Michael Makes His First Moves In Supernatural Season 14 Premiere Photos

With Supernatural set to commence its fourteenth season in just under three weeks, you could say it's high time that The CW begin giving us some promo material. Really, this summer has yielded a veritable drought for fans of the long-running horror series in that regard, so it's good to see some stuff finally hitting the web.

Actually, it was earlier today that we brought you a trailer and synopsis for the premiere episode, and now we have a fair amount of photos to go along with those. Seen below, they offer even more insight into what awaits our favorite hunters, showing us more of a Sam Winchester who apparently has no time to shave, not to mention the scheming Michael, whom you may remember is now taking up residence within Dean’s body.

Speaking of Apocalypse World’s Michael, there’s a lot to be seen in this gallery pertaining to his rendezvous with Sister Jo, a character played by none other than Jensen Ackles’ real life wife, Danneel. Personally, I’m hoping that the two don’t become an onscreen couple because such a thing seems too obvious, but anything is possible.

Shipping aside, here’s what Jensen himself had to tease about this meeting of the minds not long ago:

“He utilizes that meeting as an assessment of the greater realm of angels that exists. And she’s not necessarily the best representation of the angels that are out there, because she kind of has her own agenda and is a bit rogue. So his meeting with her does prove to be a little different than anticipated, which makes for an interesting dynamic.”

Supernatural returns for its fourteenth season on Thursday, October 11 on The CW. In the meantime, be sure to check out our review for season 13’s Blu-ray set.
