For those who’ve been keeping track of the recent LEGO leaks for the Avengers: Infinity War sequel, the white suit with the Avengers ‘A’ emblazoned on the front should look pretty familiar by now. That being said, this might be the first image we’ve seen of Rhodes wearing the outfit, with the character even being excluded from the various team photos and artwork that’s made the rounds in these last few months. Perhaps we should take this absence as cause for doubting the new photo’s legitimacy, but if as many heroes will be journeying into the Quantum Realm as we’ve been led to believe, then it seems plausible enough that War Machine might also make the trip.

Speaking of LEGO leaks, a report from earlier this month alleged that one of the Endgame tie-in sets is going under the title of “War Machine Destroyer,” prompting the prediction that Rhodey will be using the War Destroyer weapon from the Marvel vs. Capcom video games.

Such a notion is still to be confirmed, but this wouldn’t be the only Marvel vs. Capcom callback that could feature in the upcoming film, with Iron Man’s proton cannon also thought to be making an appearance. Either way, we’ll get some clarification on the matter when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.
