Crisis On Infinite Earths Will Kill Off Major Arrowverse Characters

Fans went wild - and understandably so - when it was announced following last fall's "Elseworlds" crossover that the next major Arrowverse event would be an adaptation of "Crisis On Infinite Earths," which is without a doubt the biggest DC Comics event ever. It addition to all the multiversal mayhem, it also promises that there'll be some major changes made to the status quo, as the comic book event saw the deaths of some iconic heroes.

And it looks like something similar will be happening on television, too. Sources close to We Got This Covered have informed us that after “Crisis” takes place, the Arrowverse will look very different as the event will kill off a few major characters. Unfortunately, we weren’t told who might meet their end, but with a lot of the actors in the franchise having been around for many, many years now, it’s understandable that The CW might be looking to make room for some new blood.

If you’ve read Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s masterwork, you’ll likely remember that it killed off both Barry Allen and Kara Zor-El. But seeing as how The Flash is currently The CW’s top draw and Supergirl is still a pretty fresh commodity, we can probably rule them both out as safe. Oliver Queen, on the other hand, well, it’s certainly not looking very good for him at this stage.

Then again, it doesn’t necessarily have to be one of them who dies, as the network could also kill off some of their peers. In any case, as the title would suggest, we’ll likely be looking at a very different Arrowverse once “Crisis on Infinite Earths” has come and gone. And given how impressive and exciting “Elseworlds” was, we simply can’t wait to see what The CW has in store for us with the next big crossover event.
