It’s now been just over a month since a 30-second TV spot for Avengers: Endgame dropped during the Super Bowl, and with predictions of an Oscar night trailer turning out to be off the mark, fans are currently feeling more than ready for some fresh footage from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel.
Naturally, the internet has a few ideas for when the next trailer might be headed our way. Trailer Track, for instance, tweeted on Saturday that it was “likely” that the preview would be released between March 11th and the 21st. TT’s own Anton Volkov, however, has since offered an alternative suggestion.
After acknowledging that Empire and Entertainment Weekly will be publishing material on the 21st and the 22nd, respectively, Volkov argues that this development gives more traction to the rumor that the trailer may be out on April 2nd or the week prior, since it’s unlikely that the trailer drop and EW coverage would happen on the same week. Volkov goes on to say that he’s now expecting the trailer to arrive some time between March 25th and April 4th.
Obviously, this is all just speculation for the time being, but we’re just a few weeks away from seeing this latest prediction proven right or wrong. In the meantime, Marvel Studios is likely to stay largely focused on hyping up Captain Marvel, which is set for release on March 8th and is headed for theaters with a whole load of strong buzz behind it.
Speaking of Carol Danvers, it’s currently looking like Marvel is saving her first appearance in the Endgame promo footage until after her solo movie comes out, in which case, there’s a distinct possibility that Captain Marvel will be showing up in the next trailer. Either way, we’ll see her and the rest of the gang in action when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.
