Using data compiled from international territories, US-Bookies.com has come up with the odds of each Phase 1 hero kicking the bucket in the Avengers: Infinity War sequel. Unsurprisingly, Captain America is deemed the most at risk, with the First Avenger getting even chances at 1/1. Indeed, even Chris Evans has joked about his character’s possible demise, and a browse through social media will tell you that many fans are practically mourning Cap’s death already.

After that, comes Iron Man with 2/1 odds of dying, while third place goes the final member of the MCU Trinity, Thor, who’s reportedly at 5/1. Looking relatively safe, however, are Hawkeye and Hulk, both at 8/1, though the hero deemed most likely to live to the end of the Phase 3 finale is Black Widow, with odds at 10/1.

It’s no mystery how Natasha Romanoff came out as the safest of the six, given that she has her own solo movie due for release next year. Mind you, it’s been heavily rumored that the Black Widow standalone film will be a prequel, so maybe we shouldn’t take her survival as a given just yet.

As for Cap, Iron Man and Thor, with three solo features under each of their belts, there’s been a whole lot of speculation that the trio might be finishing their respective runs with this next film, be it via death, retirement or something else entirely. Granted, Tessa Thompson recently suggested that a fourth Thor is in the works, but either way, we’ll see who’s still around for Marvel’s Phase 4 when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
