The directing and writing force behind the 2007 Academy Award-winning comedy Juno are teaming up once again. Jason Reitman (who also directed Up in the Air and Thank You for Smoking) and screenwriter Diablo Cody, will release their new film Young Adult, on December 9th. T
According to The Playlist, Reitman is keeping Young Adult away from the festivals this year and those who have attended screenings of the film have been told to keep their opinions a secret. Rumor has it that the film is a bit darker than what we would expect from Reitman, which could be good or bad.
The trailer is quite solid, and the film looks like it could have great writing, but I’m a bit uncertain about Reitman’s decision to keep people’s opinions a secret. It makes me wonder if the reactions have been positive or not.
Young Adult will hit theaters on December 9th and the trailer can be viewed below.
