Right now, I imagine that Arrowverse fans feel like the fall is an eternity away. Though the season finales for the series comprising it aired about a month ago (give or take), we still have to wait another four months before the next seasons debut.
Luckily, one of the first pieces of the puzzle fell into place yesterday when The CW officially announced return dates for most of those shows. And while WGTC and various other media outlets reported on that very subject, the network made sure to get the word out via social media.
Seen in the gallery below are slick new posters for each series, each hyping their respective season premieres. First up is one that’s actually split between Batwoman and Supergirl. Seeing as how they’ll both debut on Sunday, October 6th, it does make sense for them to be advertised together – and there’s also the fact that Batwoman is the new kid on the block, so it’s for the better that it be given a boost by an existing fan favorite.
Next up is The Flash, which will kickoff its sixth season on Tuesday, October 8th in the 8pm time slot. Admirably enough, this is one show that hasn’t budged since it began in the fall of 2014. It seems like only yesterday when it was the Little Arrow Spinoff That Could.
Speaking of which, Arrow returns for its eighth and final season on Tuesday, October 15th in the 9pm time slot, as it’ll finally tag team with The Flash. If you’re wondering why it’s not debuting on the 8th, that’s because a special encore presentation of Batwoman‘s pilot episode will air on that night.
And though Black Lightning isn’t technically part of the Arrowverse just yet, it’s still in the DC TV family. That one will arrive to the party on Monday, October 21st at 9pm. In case you’re wondering, season 3 will follow All American.
If you’re perplexed as to why Legends of Tomorrow was left out, fear not, because that’ll drop at the midseason mark. If we had to hazard a guess, we’d say sometime in January, but the ball is in The CW’s court.
