[SPOILERS] Will Die In Crisis On Infinite Earths

Just as Iron Man perished in Avengers: Endgame, it looks like the Arrowverse will have its own major death to mark the end of an era in upcoming crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths." The Arrow season 7 finale outright confirmed that Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen will die in the incoming multiversal crisis, via a prediction by the cosmic being the Monitor.

The Arrow season 7 finale outright confirmed that Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen will die in the incoming multiversal crisis, via a prediction by the cosmic being the Monitor. This followed on from the heavy hints at such a thing happening in 2018’s crossover “Elseworlds,” in which the Emerald Archer made a deal with the Monitor to spare the lives of Flash and Supergirl off-screen. It all seems pretty clear-cut, then, but some fans are wondering if this is all a massive ploy and Green Arrow will actually survive the crossover.

Well, sorry, Arrow fans, but according to our intel, this isn’t all a trick and the hero really will die in “Crisis.” We Got This Covered has been informed by our sources that Oliver will definitely die in the event. We don’t know what happens in the final episodes of Arrow season 8 or even beyond, but when it comes to the crossover itself, it looks like he’ll pull a Tony Stark and meet his fate while saving the universe. Or the multiverse, in this case.

Arrow is known to have at least a couple of episodes left of its short 10-part final season once “Crisis” wraps up, so presumably these will feature Amell in some capacity. Therefore, there might be some extra stings in this tale to come once the crossover kills him off. The actor has promised a “happy ending” for the series, after all, so Arrow season 8 may end with history being changed again and Oliver getting his life back.

In any case, we’ll find out soon enough, as “Crisis on Infinite Earths” runs for five episodes across all five shows, stretching from December 8th to January 14th.
