The Inhumans May Be Returning To The MCU With A New Cast

MCU Cosmic is reporting that the Inhumans may be returning to the MCU, with a new cast set to bring the gang to life after the terrible TV show.

Somewhere out there in the vast unknown, we imagine there’s an alternate timeline in which Marvel fans have already witnessed an Inhumans movie, which was set to release last month.

Yes, July 12th, 2019 could have been very, very different if the studio had stuck to their original plan – a plan which, as you may recall, also referred to Avengers: Endgame as Infinity War – Part II.

History tells us, though, that Kevin Feige and Co. made some serious changes to Phase 3 along the way, resulting in release date shuffles and more. But perhaps the most notable change was in regards to the Inhumans, a group of beloved heroes from the comics who wound up with an ABC series instead of their own movie and, well, we all know how that turned out, right? But for fans of the characters, all hope may not be lost, as the gang might be on their way back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

MCU Cosmic reports that Black Bolt and the Royal Family may still have a future in the franchise and could be returning once Ms. Marvel and the Celestials are “better established” in the MCU. The outlet goes on to say that the property would be rebooted or retconned, which means new actors and actresses in the roles, wiping away the terrible taste left in our mouths from the aforementioned show.

Of course, We Got This Covered already brought you this news months ago, and while Marvel has yet to confirm it, the fact that MCU Cosmic (who have a pretty good track record) are also reporting on it leads us to believe that our sources got it right once again. That being said, this might only be the current plan and things could change just as easily as they did back when Endgame was still named Infinity War – Part II.

For now, though, it seems that Marvel Studios is indeed looking to reboot the Inhumans. The only question that remains is, will they find more success this time? What do you think? As always, sound off down below.
