Following the recent – tragic – news that NBC’s Community would no longer be appearing this year in the Thursday midseason line-up, every episode of the near-perfect program is now watchable on Hulu, right here. That is, to subscribers of Hulu Plus.
The old episodes became available for viewing on Friday, instead of the usual five most recent episodes. I suppose this move was made by NBC to help fans cope with the loss of their favorite program, as if they are throwing us some kind of live-streaming bone.
But realistically – how many people are subscribed to Hulu Plus? This is kind of like a slap in the face, if you ask me. I don’t think it’s too demanding to at least be able to watch the current season for free, seeing as how such a small amount of it aired on television before the “hiatus.”
Community is expected to come back in late spring, but there hasn’t been any official word on its return.
I need more Joel McHale in my life, but I’m not going to be watching Community on Hulu Plus. What about you, reader? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
