Dream Drop Distance is meant to be one of the “main” games in the series. Sora and Riku will be put through tests in Sleeping Worlds in an attempt to become Keyblade Masters, led by King Mickey. Dream Drop Distance will also feature a handful of new Disney worlds like The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Tron Legacy.

If anyone is having trouble keeping track of the games that have the “important” parts of the story for the franchise, the important ones are Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 on PS2, Birth By Sleep on PSP, and Dream Drop Distance on the 3DS. All others are spin-offs and aren’t necessarily important to the overall story.

What say you, gamers? When do you think the game will hit stateside?
