In order to help promote one of the biggest upcoming games of 2012, Microsoft has launched the Mass Effect 3 Mission Command Facebook application. After giving it access to their accounts, players are asked to complete missions, with the promise of unlockable in-game items.
Those tasks are quite simple, including such things as recruiting friends, posting pick-up lines for Liara, downloading the demo and/or uploading a video of you pretending to be in the game’s world.
The first prize on offer is a Normandy Xbox LIVE Avatar prop, which is quite possibly the same one that is featured within the game’s Collector’s Edition set. Though, the prizes get better later on as an Xbox 360/Kinect console bundle with a copy of the game will be up for grabs.
