Andrew Niccol‘s futuristic thriller In Time is scheduled to hit Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack on January 31st, 2012. The film, which dealt with time as a form of currency starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried, didn’t make much of an impression when it quickly splashed into cinemas back in October.
The film was mostly praised for Cillian Murphy‘s work as the villain and it also gave credit to Justin Timberlake for providing a likable lead. But, the film’s biggest problems rested in the story that was poorly directed by Andrew Niccol. The concept still remains a good idea, but the overall film was seen as a letdown.
The Blu-Ray doesn’t offer an extended or director’s cut, but it does come with a few special features in addition to the 1080p video transfer and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track.
