Justice League Vs. Teen Titans Voice Cast Revealed

Fans of the DC Universe direct-to-video animated movies should be thrilled to hear that the voice cast has been officially announced for 2016's second release, Justice League vs. Teen Titans. Featuring a staggering amount of DC's finest heroes from varying generations, we can only assume this movie will deliver much excitement and fan service.

Fans of the DC Universe direct-to-video animated movies should be thrilled to hear that the voice cast has been officially announced for 2016’s second release, Justice League vs. Teen Titans. Featuring a staggering amount of DC’s finest heroes from varying generations, we can only assume this movie will deliver much excitement and fan service.

The Teen Titans lineup itself will be composed of Robin/Damian Wayne (Stuart Allan), Nightwing (Sean Maher), Starfire (Kari Wahlgren), Blue Beetle (Jake T. Austin), Beast Boy (Brandon Soo Hoo), Raven (Taissa Farmiga), and the most interesting addition, Cyborg (Shemar Moore). Sure, Cyborg is historically known to be in the Teen Titans, but has been aligned with the Justice League in various forms of media since 2011. So, it should definitely be interesting to see what series of events force him to switch his allegiance.

As for the Justice League, expect the following characters to return: Batman (Jason O’Mara), Superman (Jerry O’Connell), Wonder Woman (Rosario Dawson), and The Flash (Christopher Gorham). The villain of the piece is the demonic Trigon, who will be voiced by Jon Bernthal, an actor superhero fans now know as The Punisher on the Netflix series Marvel’s Daredevil.

According to TV Insider, the movie “sends Robin to work with the Titans after his volatile behavior botches a Justice League mission. The young team then must really step up to face Trigon after he possesses the League and threatens to conquer the world.” Perhaps Cyborg being part machine allows him to retain control of his mental faculties, thus allowing him to join the Teen Titans in their fight against Trigon.

The film is directed by Sam Liu with a script written by Bryan Q. Miller and Alan Burnett. Character designs are once again handled by Phil Bourassa. James Tucker and Sam Register serve as supervising and executive producers, respectively.

While there is no trailer as of now for Justice League vs. Teen Titans, which will see a spring release, fans won’t have to wait long to get an early look at the film. A sneak peek featurette will be available on the Blu-Ray and DVD editions of Batman: Bad Blood on February 2.
