Roman Polanski‘s latest film Carnage is heading to Blu-Ray in March. Sony has announced the title, which stars Kate Winselt, Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly.

Based on the play by Yasmina Reza, Carnage takes place almost entirely in one home. It’s a comedy revolving around a schoolyard fight that broke out between two couples’ young kids. It may appear to be a simple scenario on the surface, but the film plays out in a much more complex way, breaking down the most basic human emotions.

Our very own Blake Dew had this to say about the film in his review.

This is a fantastic, witty and hilarious comedy that mirrors its exceptionally talented cast. The interesting, thought provoking topic, along with the small use of space, smart dialogue and Polanski’s perfect direction, make Carnage one of the best comedies of the year.

Carnage will be presented in 1080p with a 5.0 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The disc will contain three featurettes.

  • Actors’ Notes
  • An Evening with John C. Reilly and Christoph Waltz
  • On the Red Carpet

The disc will drop on March 20th, 2012.
