To celebrate the upcoming Blu-Ray release of Olympus Has Fallen, Sony Pictures has decided to share with us a brief clip that takes us behind the scenes of the film and gives us a look at what went into making it the thrill ride that it turned out to be.
Running just over a minute long, the featurette shows off how they used digital effects to create some of the destruction involving the White House. It’s nothing groundbreaking but it does give us a cool look at some of the movie magic that went on during production.
Overall, it’s a brief, but interesting glimpse into how they put the film together and acts as a tease for the Blu-Ray, which will include a whole bunch of in-depth special features. The full list is as follows:
- Featurettes
- Under Siege: The Making of Olympus Has Fallen
- The Epic Ensemble
- Creating the Action: Visual FX & Design
- Deconstructing the Black Hawk Sequnce
- Ground Combat: Fighting The Terrorists
- Bloopers
- UltraViolet
Check out the video below and let us know if you’ll be picking up Olympus Has Fallen on Blu-Ray when it releases on August 13th, 2013.
