It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally going to be making a return to the bleak and dystopian alternate realities presented by Netflix’s anthology series Black Mirror when its sixth season arrives come June of 2023. While it’ll be the first batch of new episodes since 2019, it’s looking like it’s going to be worth the wait, with the most impressive list of A list actor appearances in the series to date.
For starters, we’ve got who appears to be the poster boy for Black Mirror season six, that being none other than Breaking Bad and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie star Aaron Paul, undoubtedly best known for his incredible performance as Jesse Pinkman in Vince Gilligan’s hit television universe. Since then, Paul has gone on to appear in HBO’s Westworld and a number of video game projects, including Need for Speed, and the animated film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. Paul has also appeared in Black Mirror back in season four, as a voice-only character named Gamer691.
We then have a number of other Hollywood heavy hitters – not limited to, but including Salma Hayek Pinault (Desperado, Frida), Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Zazie Beetz (Atlanta, Joker), and Kate Mara (Fantastic Four, The Martian).
