The popular singer Post Malone is turning 28 today, and the death-defying culture vulture is likely having his own backyard bbq somewhere in Utah with his girlfriend and daughter. His legal name is Austin Richard Post and he is an accomplished rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Post Malone’s stage name was created by putting his birth name into a rap name generator. So, we have music, but what about the food?

Andrew Zimmern is a chef, restaurateur, television and radio personality, director, producer, businessman, author, and food critic. A true expert on all things tasty, he hosts a number of food shows on the Food Network, including Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Bizarre Foods America, and Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations, and his own cooking web series on YouTube. Zimmern is celebrating his 62nd birthday today.
Bill Withers
It’s a “Lovely Day” when Bill Withers is singing his songs, but “Aint No Sunshine When She’s Gone.” Sadly, Withers passed away in 2020, at a ripe old age of 81, and today he would be 84 years old. Withers brightened up so many peoples’ days with his gentle, lovely songs, like “Just the Two of Us” and “Lean on Me.” Let’s celebrate his wonderful music this Fourth of July by jamming to his sweet songs, and picture him enjoying some fireworks on his birthday.

This talented young man starred in the movie Moonlight about a young Black man struggling with his identity and sexuality. Alex R. Hibbert also starred in Black Panther and The Chi and won multiple awards, including The Gold Derby Film Award and a BET award. Today he turns 19 years old. Happy birthday, Alex, and many happy returns.
Gina Lollobrigida
Sadly, we recently lost this famous beauty who appeared in a number of classic films. Gina Lollobrigida starred in Beat The Devil alongside Humphrey Bogart, and Crossed Swords with Errol Flynn, among many others. Considered a sex symbol during the 1950s and 1960s, she later had a second career after she left acting as a photojournalist. She even scored an exclusive interview with Fidel Castro. Lollobrigida died this year at the age of 95. Let’s raise a glass and a cheer today on her birthday to commemorate this kicky lady.
Becki Newton
Another beautiful actress joining in today’s birthday celebrations is Becki Newton, star of Ugly Betty and How I Met your Mother. She turned 45 today while celebrating her birthday and the Fourth of July with her husband and their three children.
