The Masked Singer is a singing competition that originally started in Korea as King of Masked Singer and made its way to America in January of 2019. The competition involves celebrities who must sing and perform in total incognito mode, using only code names, and dressed in full and elaborate costumes. Their identities can only be revealed once they have been eliminated.
The series has become a popular part of mainstream media since its debut, especially due to the wide variety of celebrities that have shown off their singing chops.
