Speaking to VladTV, the line of questioning by host Vladimir Lyubovny led White to express his thoughts on the allegations against Majors and the issue of violence perpetrated by men against women in general. As the interviewer points out to White in this particular section of the interview, it’s unknown exactly how the events transpired on the evening of Majors’ arrest.

The lawyers for the Marvel star maintain his innocence, and say there’s “irrefutable evidence” to back it up. During the interview, where Lyubovny presented the more widespread theory that Majors was possibly acting in self defense after his partner started acting “crazy,” White made it clear that he neither knew Majors personally, nor did he know about the specifics of the case, other than the broad strokes his wife had told him about.

“It sounds pretty damn tragic, but if there is credence behind [the scenario painted by the VladTV host] then, you know, things kind of balance out,” White said, before clarifying that “a man should never put his hands on a woman,” regardless of context.

Whether or not they’re attacked first, White firmly believes the pure imbalance in physical strength between a man and a woman in that sort of situation means men shouldn’t retaliate. “It’s one of those things that we men just have to deal with,” the actor and martial artist expounded. As for whether that might sound unfair, White is clear: “We got a lot of other advantages.”

“Run, she is not going to outrun you. There are certain things that, as men, you just don’t do, or you ain’t a man, in my eyes,” he concluded.

Majors’ trial is already underway. He is expected in court again June 13.
