The damage has more than likely already be done to Jonathan Majors‘ career, which was billed as one of the most promising Hollywood had seen in years up until very recently. The actor and his team have come forward with brand new evidence protesting his innocence, though, but that doesn’t mean a thing when so many other alleged victims have now stepped out of the shadows.
While the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star and his representatives have always protested he did nothing wrong in the inciting incident that opened the floodgates to a string of subsequent accusations, even CCTV footage showcasing the woman named in the initial report out partying all night mere hours after she allegedly suffered injuries in her altercation with Majors hasn’t stopped the tide from turning against him.
As per TMZ, attorney Priya Chaudhry filed documents late last night in Manhattan, letting the court know that the driver of the cab where the scuffle took place would testify that Majors had done absolutely nothing wrong. The woman in question reportedly told police that she’d suffered a broken finger, but the footage purportedly tells an entirely different story that shows her using the same hand to knock back drinks and dance well into the early hours.
Blasting the “complete lies” being perpetuated against her client, Chaudhry has always maintained that Majors was completely innocent of wrongdoing, but that doesn’t mean countless other claims haven’t been made. Getting one to go away isn’t going to be enough to salvage the once-rising star’s reputation, with the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s new big bad teetering ever closer to the brink of self-implosion as more and more stories begin to be made public.
