As a former game show host who became the worst president in U.S. history once said, “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.” Musician and occasional actor Machine Gun Kelly recently experienced this, and as a result, helped a fan live out their bizarre dreams by punching them in the face at a recent concert.
In the above video posted to Kelly’s (whose real name is Colson Baker) official account on TikTok, the man who is nearing 40 and is dressed like what a teenager from 2004 would find edgy sees a sign from a fan saying they came all the way from Mexico to be punched by the entertainer. Kelly appears to be unsettled by the request at first and says it would hurt the young person given the rings on his hand, adds it is a “lose-lose” situation, and then closes his initial remarks by saying he would consider it before doing it.
After lightly touching the fan, Kelly continues to perform while telling the person he loves them, and in the comments, fans are largely in favor of the interaction. Some say this is impressive as most would not do the same if asked, another says Kelly was smart to show the person’s sign to the camera and, for one, their thirst for the rapper is evident in their ideal scenario.
“If I put pull my hair and tell me you love me will you do it lmao 🤣”

Elsewhere in the discourse, those who knew Kelly for his earliest music are bemoaning what he is doing now, others say he resembles a character dressed like someone from an anime project, and someone else says fan requests are getting weirder and weirder. This has been somewhat proven true lately with phones being thrown at musicians and someone tossing their mother’s ashes onto the stage at a Pink concert in London. As far as we know, Kelly has not gotten anything like this yet and, apart from giving real face punches to fans, has gotten metaphorical ones from critics for his very poor cinematic work.
What will come for him in the future from folks remains to be seen. Right now, he has no other projects on deck and was recently in Dave as himself on FXX and also starred in One Way with Kevin Bacon last year. He is also continuing on with pop-punk music and it is not known when or if he’ll return to rap.
