5) Arty
It seems like Arty’s been sitting on an album for the better part of a year now. We talked to the prolific trance DJ/producer around the turn of the year about the upcoming effort, and he told us that all that needed to be done was a handful of minor production tweaks. If Anjunabeats is twiddling their thumbs on the official release, you’d better believe Arty will be anxious to play some of these tracks out during his performance next weekend.
4) Amtrac
Having first hinted at a new album back in February then once again last month, progressive house innovator Amtrac is likely sitting on a wealth of new tracks as well. He’s kept quiet for most of 2015 as far as releases are concerned, so it stands to reason that a good deal of his recent work has been evaporating out in his live sets.
3) Peking Duk
This quirky Australian duo took to Instagram to kill two birds with one stone by announcing their debut albumĀ and referencing their genitalia in the same post. In all honesty, though, their excitement is warranted; their recent tendency towards downtempo/future bass has helped them establish more of a unique identity as EDM branches out into myriads of new styles. Whatever they’ve got in the works is probably pretty groundbreaking, and they’re probably itching to play it out.
