Continuing their year-long support for Dying Light in 2016, Techland have just expanded the game’s Dev Tools. Players now have the ability to use all-terrain buggies featured in Dying Light: The Following on custom maps, even if they only own the base game.
With this new addition, gamers will also have the option to freely modify the driving system how they see fit and use the buggies in PvP scenarios. Deep Silver are hoping the Dev Tools will help players create all manner of buggy-inspired maps, and are running a contest to reward the best of the best.
Dubbed the Buggy Madness contest, you can compete by creating a buggy-based custom map using Dying Light Developers Tools (available for free on Steam) and submitting it at the official contest website. This time the grand prize is the Razer Gaming Gear pack, which includes a BlackWidow X Chroma keyboard, a DeathAdder Chroma mouse, and a Kraken 7.1 Chroma headset. The organizer will also give away two runner-up prizes.
The contest runs from May 19th to June 19th 2016, so you’ll have plenty of time to get your creative juices flowing and craft the perfect, prize-worthy submission.
