While the October 30th release of Assassin’s Creed III is definitely the biggest event for the series this year, Ubisoft has announced a budget-friendly way for newcomers to the series to get acquainted with the previous protagonist, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. This will come in the form of the Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy.
Currently a PlayStation 3 exclusive, the compilation will include the last three games in the series – Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, & Assassin’s Creed: Revelations – all together for the price of $39.99. The three games together chronicle Ezio’s journeys through Renaissance-era Italy, Rome, & Constantinople as an Assassin, with Brotherhood & Revelations also containing online multiplayer and Assassin’s Creed II coming with its downloadable mission packs built in.
Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy will be available in stores on November 13th and it will definitely present an enticing opportunity for players who have been on the fence about trying Ezio’s adventures.
As always, we will keep you updated on future news regarding the series.
