Believe it or not, we’re nearing the end of E3 2015 – only 362 until E3 2016! – and while video game enthusiasts recount their favorite announcements, the biggest release that will no doubt be on everyone’s mind is Rocksteady’s trilogy-capper, Batman: Arkham Knight.

Due for release next week, the threequel is shaping up to be one of the biggest titles of the year, though publisher Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed via Kotaku that it will no longer ship the special Batmobile edition of Arkham Knight due to “unforeseen circumstances” with the replicas of Bruce Wayne’s vehicular behemoth.

“We regret to inform you that we are not able to release the Batmobile Collector’s Edition of Batman: Arkham Knight due to unforeseen circumstances that greatly compromised the quality of this extremely limited run of product. We are deeply apologetic for this unfortunate outcome.”

The premium package (pictured above) was only available through a select number of retailers in certain territories, and many outlets have begun offering refunds along with additional gift cards as compensation.

On Warner Bros.’ side, the publisher is set to pamper those affected with a string of digital exclusives for the game, which will arrive in the form of the previously-announced 52 skin pack that bundles together alternate costumes for Batman, Robin and Nightwing. That means you’ll be able to customize the crime-fighting trio before pummelling goons via Arkham Knight‘s intriguing Dual Play feature.

While this zero hour cancelation is certainly disappointing, fans of Batman: Arkham Knight need only look to June 23 for the game’s launch across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
