Weighing in at 60GB, the PC version of Battlefield: Hardline is certainly packing a lot of heat — pretty appropriate for a cops and robbers set-up, mind you. In the post, EA also noted that those players who are attempting to play the game’s beta on hardware with 4GB RAM or less may encounter performance issues when playing online, as Hardline is yet to be optimized for lower performing PCs.

Running from February 3 through to February 8, the bout of testing will act as the final performance metric for Visceral before the title’s release next month. In it, fans can put a variety of game modes to the test, including the novel Hotwire mode. Forcing players to hijack cars and evade the opposing team, Hotwire is as fast as it is furious, and one that will no doubt pique the curiosity of Battlefield‘s existing fanbase come March.

Battlefield: Hardline will make its bow across consoles and PC on March 17.
