Sony has announced that tomorrow’s PSN update will add BioShock 2 to the growing list of free games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers as part of the service’s Instant Game Collection.
Apart from the free BioShock 2 download, Sony also revealed that PlayStation Plus members will be able to access two new discounts on their digital game purchases. The first is 10% off the Rockstar Games Collection Edition 1 (which includes; Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, L.A. Noire, and Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition) making the full set of titles a mere $53.99. The second is a 50% discount on the physics-based puzzle game Puddle — $3.50 on the PS3 and $2.80 on the PS Vita.
Finally, Sony’s Music Unlimited offer is still on the table, meaning Plus subscribers can get a full year of the service for $12.
Sony has not detailed the remaining PlayStation Plus benefits for 2012, however, the post on the PlayStation Blog mentioned that there will be another title added to the Instant Game Collection next week.
