Call Of Duty: Black Ops III’s Bonus Zombies Map Revisits A Classic

On the eve of San Diego Comic-Con, Activision pulled back the curtain on the Zombies Mode within Call of Duty: Black Ops III, which will feature a colorful ensemble that includes Jeff Goldbum, Heather Graham, Neil McDonoguh, Ron Perlman and Robert Picardo as a mysterious character known as The Shadow Man.

That mainline cooperative mode will be entitled Shadows of Evil, whisking the undead action back to the 1940s replete with larger-than-life characters and older weaponry. But that’s not the only time period that Black Ops III‘s Zombies will be revisiting, after the publisher revealed that Treyarch’s shooter will also include a remastered version of the beloved Der Reise map from Call of Duty: World at War in the form of The Giant. It’s set to be included in the Collector’s Edition of the new installment, and you can check out a description of the map below.

Zombies returns in all of its undead glory with “The Giant,” a Nazi research facility featuring the weapon upgrading Pack-A-Punch Machine. Re-live the chaos of Treyarch’s classic “Der Riese” Zombies map, picking up the Zombies story with Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo where Origins left off.
