In the latest results released by chart-tracking agency UKie, Call of Duty: Ghosts has once again held onto the top spot in the UK’s all-formats chart. The latest entry in the absurdly popular series debuted last week with the third highest sales of 2013, only behind Grand Theft Auto V and FIFA 14.

Here’s the top ten chart for the week ending November 16th:

1. Call of Duty: Ghosts

2. Lego Marvel Super Heroes

3. FIFA 14

4. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

5. Battlefield 4

6. Grand Theft Auto V

7. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition

8. Skylanders Swap Force

9. Batman: Arkham Origins

10. Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy

Despite plummeting 76% from the previous week, Ghosts was able to hold off a surprisingly strong performance from Lego Marvel Super Heroes. While there is no denying that both Lego and Marvel are popular properties, I’m still a bit shocked that the title managed to debut so high. In fact, it was the second highest first week for the series yet and was only bested by Lego Indiana Jones: Original Adventures.

Other movement within the top 10 sees FIFA 14 and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag swap positions while Battlefield 4 slips from second last week down to fifth this week. Both Grand Theft Auto V and Minecraft are down a spot each as well, to six and seven respectively, while Skylanders Swap Force manages to jump up two spots this week most likely due to the release of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions. Rounding out the top 10 is Batman: Arkham Origins and Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, which dropped three and rose three positions from last week, respectively.

Outside of Lego Marvel Super Heroes, no other titles debuted within the top 20. Ratchet & Clank Nexus came in at twenty-one while XCOM: Enemy Within came in at twenty-five, which has to be seen as a slight disappointment considering XCOM: Enemy Unknown debuted at number seven last year.

This week in the United Kingdom sees the release of the Xbox One and all of its major launch titles, as well as The Legend Of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, so it will be interesting to see if Call of Duty: Ghosts can retain its stranglehold of the top spot.
