The day of March 27th will be a digital renaissance for some of Capcom‘s recently released Xbox LIVE Arcade titles. That just so happens to be when the Capcom Digital Collection will become available at North American retailers. A European release will follow on March 30.
At forty dollars, the disc-based compilation is a steal, considering that it would cost over one hundred dollars to download each game individually. Plus, it will allow you to save the hard drive space for something else.
Here’s what to expect:
1942: Joint Strike
Bionic Commando Rearmed 2
Final Fight: Double Impact
Flock!
Rocketmen: Axis of Evil + It Came From Uranus DLC
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3
That happens to be a pretty great deal if you ask me. It’s especially worthwhile for gamers who don’t have access to high speed internet.
Today, Capcom confirmed that Capcom Digital Collection will be available in North America on March 27, 2012, exclusively for Xbox 360. The collection will be available on a disc at retail for the first time for the value MSRP of $39.99.
Jam-packed with eight hit games previously available via Xbox LIVE® Arcade for Xbox 360, the eclectic collection features a wide variety of popular titles sure to please gamers of all ages and experience levels.
The full list of games in the collection includes: 1942: Joint Strike, Bionic Commando® Rearmed 2, Final Fight™ Double Impact, Flock!, Rocketmen™: Axis of Evil including Rocketmen™: It Came From Uranus expansion, Super Puzzle Fighter® II Turbo HD Remix, Super Street Fighter® II Turbo HD Remix, Wolf of the Battlefield™: Commando 3. Each game preserves all the features, online functionality and Achievements from their download versions.
The ESRB ratings of the games in Capcom Digital Collection range from “E for Everyone” to “T for Teen.”
