Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior Adds Samurais And Spartans To The Mix

I was really hesitant to post this article. Not because I didn’t think it was worth reporting, but I was having a hard time believing this was real. I was convinced it was either an elaborate troll or I had taken too much flu medication. However, Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior is a real thing, and it may be my favorite thing to happen this week.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is undoubtedly the best first-person-hack-and-slash game on the market, but I have to admit it was starting to get a bit stale playing through the same types of battles. It seems that Torn Banner Studios knew about this, and decided to upgrade it in the most ludicrous way possible: by teaming up with the guys from Spike TV and including samurais and Spartan warriors. Four more bands of warriors have yet to be revealed, and as someone who watched way more of that show than is healthy while recovering from surgery, I’m fairly confident that we can expect the Persian Immortals or Roman Centurions to join the fray.

No release date has been given for Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior, but I’ve decided to hole up and watch the entire Deadliest Warrior series with my dog until it comes out. I think I’ll be ok with the wait.
