Telltale Games’ upcoming Tales From The Borderlands just got a lot more nerdy, as today the company revealed which talents will be lending their pipes to the title.

Sam Witwer, perhaps best known for his work in the American version of Being Human and his voicing of Darth Maul in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, will voice one of the main protagonists of the game, Rhys. Joining Witer will be Nerdist founder and @midnight host Chris Hardwick, who will portray Vaughn, a “meek, mousy accountant for the Hyperion Corporation” and Rhy’s best friend.

Additional talent featured in Tales From The Borderlands include Patrick Warburton (Family Guy), Nolan North (Uncharted series) and several returning members from the Borderlands series cast, including Dameon Clarke as Handsome Jack.

Without doubt, Telltale Games’ narrative-driven experiences have typically featured excellent voice casting, and Tales From The Borderlands doesn’t appear to change that. All of the talent added today have had considerable experience with voiceover work before, so they should be more than capable of doing a solid job here. Then again, I’ll listen to Warburton’s dulcet tones talk about just about anything, so maybe I’m not the best person to provide judgment.

Additional information on Tales From The Borderlands is expected to be announced at next week’s E3 show, including a behind closed doors look at the game in motion for the very first time.
