Chroma Squad Gets A Quirky Launch Trailer

Chroma Squad, an intriguing strategy RPG from indie developer Behold Studios, is being released tomorrow after a successful Kickstarter campaign. The game draws heavy inspiration from Power Rangers and similar Japanese sentai-styled series for its plot, which sees a group of stuntmen starting their own studio and playing color-coded superheroes.

Besides traditional turn-based battles, the game will also contain more in-depth components, such as giant robot battles, weapons and equipment that can be purchased or crafted, and multiple endings that depend on choices the player makes throughout the story.

Chroma Squad will launch April 30 on Windows, Mac, and Linux, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions also planned for a later release. Our review of the game will be posted within the coming days, but in the meantime, check out the quirk launch trailer above and let us know what you make of it.
