Crytek Prepare To Pound Crysis 2 Cheaters

Recently launched uber-FPS Crysis 2, aside from experiencing a cluster of online issues, has been abused by the folks who think it’s funny to have a 40000000000 kill to death ratio, or casually wander around maps and pick players off who have been frozen in their spawns. Most call them cheaters, and idiots.

Recently launched uber-FPS Crysis 2, aside from experiencing a cluster of online issues, has been abused by the folks who think it’s funny to have a 40000000000 kill to death ratio, or casually wander around maps and pick players off who have been frozen in their spawns. Most call them cheaters, and idiots.

While there is undoubtedly a certain amount of in game multiplayer corruption on any title, Crytek are promising to unleash the beast of unhappiness on those who are exploiting their newborn Crysis 2. Not everyone will have had the chance to see any of this stuff going on yet as the game is fairly fresh on the shelves at this point, but make no mistake, Crytek know what’s going on.

In a blog post this morning the developers said: “We are currently taking steps to permanently remove exploits from Crysis 2 and to penalize those individuals that choose to utilize them. We do take cheating very seriously here at Crytek, and we thank you for your patience and want to ensure you that we will continue to work hard to keep the integrity of Crysis 2 intact and cheat-free.”

There is word that some online updates are going to be implemented in the coming week or so to amend any problems on all the platforms. Crytek UK and EA have been teasing that they have a special announcement for this years E3 and thousands are praying this project is going to be the long awaited update to one of last generations most beloved franchises: Timesplitters 4.
