All that gamers can talk about right now is Apex Legends, and understandably so. Since launching at the start of February, it’s gone on to become the multiplayer shooter that just keeps on growing, racking up more than 50 million players already and being hailed by all corners of the industry as a fun, refreshing take on the genre.
In fact, there’s even been some talk that it may dethrone Fortnite down the road as the king of battle royale titles, and though it may very well do so eventually, for now, there’s still quite a bit of life left in Epic Games’ smash hit. Still, Apex is off to an extremely promising start and it’s only going to get better from here.
After all, the game will use a seasonal content model along with Battle Passes, similar to the aforementioned Fortnite, and with the first season expected to begin on March 12th, we’re now learning of some new details that tease what to expect. Thanks to data-miners, some of the Battle Pass’ rewards have been revealed, along with a few other minor but still interesting tidbits, all of which you can check out below.
LEAK: Some leaks about the Battle Pass. I'll explain the pics in their order.

So, as you can see, rewards will include, among other things, skins and icons, while the Battle Pass will also have its own page on the menu screen, which isn’t too surprising. Aside from all that, there’s also mention of a free and paid version, along with some kind of bonus, though we’re not sure what that may be.
Whatever it is that Respawn’s planning for us, we should know sooner rather than later as like we said above, Apex Legends’ first season of content is due to arrive this month and though he’s not mentioned here, Octane has been heavily rumored as the first new hero that we’ll be meeting.
It’s all very exciting, to be sure, and as we inch closer and closer to the expected launch date, we’ll undoubtedly learn more about Apex Legends Season 1 in no time at all, so stay tuned.
