If you’re one of the first four million and change to buy Nintendo‘s 3DS before its dramatic price drop, then you’ve hopefully signed up for its Ambassador Program. The promotion, which rewards early adopters with free downloadable retro games, will kick off in September. Its registration came to a close earlier this month, so it’s unfortunately too late to sign up if you missed out.
Those who would like to double-check that their entry was accepted can do so by using Nintendo‘s new Ambassador eligibility verification tool. It can be found on the company’s support site.
Joystiq is reporting that including the last digit of your serial number (found in the box) can return false ineligibility errors. So, it’s important to try the tool both ways for peace of mind.
