Long-time fans may have to wait until next year to get their eager hands on Halo 5: Guardians, but 343 Industries is looking to make that window of time seem inconsequential with the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Bundling together Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, the highly-anticipated package is certainly must-have for fans of the seminal sci-fi franchise. In fact, each of the aforementioned quarter will run at a smooth 60 frames-per-second and render at 1080p — nostalgia has never looked so beautiful.
What’s more, 343 Industries has confirmed that players who pick up the bundle will be entitled to enter the early multiplayer beta for Halo 5: Guardians, meaning you can glimpse a sliver of Master Chief’s next chapter against in the fight against The Covenant.
And so, with little over a month until the collection hits stores across the country, We Got This Covered had the good fortune to sit down with Dennis Reis — producer of Halo: The Master Chief Collection — to discuss the finer details of bringing the roster of Halo titles to one platform.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will launch exclusively for Xbox One on November 11th and November 14th in North America and the United Kingdom, respectively. In the meantime, tell us, which Halo title are you looking forward to revisiting the most?
