Although Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is not scheduled to launch until next year, it’s been a pretty busy week for the upcoming title. The beta launched earlier this week, and now, during tonight’s The Game Awards show, a new trailer debuted for the game.
While a majority of the footage from the upcoming adventure isn’t new to fans who have been following the production, we did get to see a new face confront Nathan Drake. After a brief bit of foreplay from Nathan, the young woman takes it to the treasure hunter with some vicious strikes. Claiming he’s holding a crucifix she is after, the unnamed foe appears to be a central figure to the game’s story.
Unsurprisingly, no one from Naughty Dog was there to personally debut the clip, but it was still nice to get even a glimpse of new footage from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. I imagine we’ll be waiting quite some time to hear about what this unknown figure has in store for Drake and company, but we’re certainly intrigued.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is scheduled to launch on March 18, 2016 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
