During its show-stopping reveal at E3 last month, Ubisoft unveiled the Far Cry 4 Kyrat Edition, a package that bundles together a travel journal, Himalayan map and a Pagan Min statue. And today, the publisher has showcased the Ultimate Kyrat SKU, which will include all of the above goodies along with the game’s season pass.
Available through the company’s online uPlay store, the Ultimate Edition will only be available for pre-order in EMEA territories (i.e. Europe, Middle East and Africa), and will include a copy of Far Cry 4 itself on either PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC for £89.99.
Much like the aforementioned Kyrat edition, this premium bundle will encompass additional in-game content for the title. Entitled Hurk’s Redemption, the add-on will allow players to step into Hurk himself — who first appeared in the Monkey Buisness DLC for Far Cry 3 — for a trio of single-player missions.
In terms of story, however, players will step into the shoes of one Ajay Ghale, a Kyrat native who returns to his homeland only to discover that Pagan Min — a self-obsessed and indeed selfie-obsessed narcissist — has appointed himself as a corrupt ruler.
Recently, Ubisoft also published an accolades trailer for Far Cry 4, which celebrates the game’s early success off of the back of its E3 appearance. In fact, here at WGTC, we were also impressed with the highly anticipated sequel, as evidenced by our hands-on impressions.
For those readers located in North America, rejoice: Far Cry 4 will launch first in North America on November 18th, before releasing in Europe three days later on November 21st.
