Held up as the largest expansion Bethesda has ever created, today brings forth the first trailer for Far Harbor, the third slice of Fallout 4 DLC that’s due to dock on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 19.
Priced at $24.99 and included in the RPG’s Season Pass, Far Harbor invites explorers back to Valentine’s Detective Agency, where a mysterious new case sends you off on a quest to the dilapidated Maine coastline. Included in the expansion are new quests, settlements, dungeons and a hoard of irradiated nasties to lock horns with.
No further details were disclosed at this stage, though the synopsis below does outline the apocalyptic adventure that awaits.
In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?
Far Harbor follows on the heels of Automatron and Wasteland Workshop, and the fact that the latest slice of content stands as the biggest add-on that Bethesda has produced has us all the more excited to return to the Commonwealth.
Fallout 4‘s third add-on, Far Harbor, makes shore on Thursday, May 19.
