PC players were left disappointed late last month when Respawn formally announced that the Titanfall 2 tech test would remain locked to PS4 and Xbox One.

Then, the studio appeared to have all hands at the pump, citing a need to suss out the technical minutia of the PC build – your video cards, your CPUs, etc. – before releasing it upon the wanting public. One month out from launch and it appears that Respawn has taken full advantage of that prolonged window, with the official Titanfall 2 PC requirements revealing a healthy amount of graphic options and the like.

Word comes by way of the studio’s blog, where Titanfall 2 Producer Drew McCoy noted that the minimum specs you see below don’t represent the entry level; rather, they purportedly offer a crisp 1600×900 resolution while averaging around 60 FPS

“In the past minimum specs were literally the minimum bar to launch the game–your experience once in the game was probably not going to be ideal. Our goal for minimum PC specs on Titanfall 2 is that you can play at a 1600×900 resolution with most details turned on and average around 60 FPS.”
