Welcoming Trey Parker and Matt Stone onto the stage, Ubisoft and Obsidian have premiered the first gameplay trailer forĀ South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Look for the riotous sequel to land on December 6.
Available to pre-order from today, those who reserve their copy of The Fractured But Whole will be entitled to a copy of South Park: The Stick of Truth, which is being remastered for current-gen consoles and PC.
While the Stick of Truth doubled down on role-playing games back in 2014, Obsidian’s upcoming sequel shifts its razor-sharp satirical touch to the superhero genre and, specifically, Hollywood’s obsession with cinematic franchises. Expect a flurry of jokes and cute references to popular culture, with everyone from J.J. Abrams and DC Comics getting roasted. If The Fractured But Whole is even half as funny as its forebear, we’re in for a treat come December.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will cause chaos across PS4, Xbox One and PC on December 6.
