Grand Theft Auto Online is to receive a new content update next week, with the focus this time being on providing players with an alternative form of vehicular competition other than standard races. Beginning March 14, Cunning Stunts will be available for those still enjoying the various delights that San Andreas has to offer, bringing with it 20 new Stunt Races designed specifically for three different racers. The Rocket Voltic, Ruiner 2000 and Blazer Aqua have been chosen due to their “unique characteristics and abilities,” so if you’re not currently familiar with how they handle, it might be time to get a little more intimate with each in order to prepare for next week.
In addition to the above, a series of discounts and special offers are available throughout the weekend until March 13, including 25% off Executive Offices and Office Garages. If you’re looking for inexpensive ways to expand your business empire, now looks like the time to do it. If you’re just interested in the cars, however, prices on all SecuroServ vehicles are currently slashed. Double GTA$ and RP can also be earned in Special Vehicle Missions until Monday.
Grand Theft Auto Online is free-to-play for all owners of Grand Theft Auto V, so if you’ve got a copy of Rockstar’s critically-acclaimed title laying around gathering dust, there’s no reason not to give it a whirl. You will, of course, be starting on the bottom rung of the criminal empire ladder, but hey, everyone has to start somewhere, right?
Despite it being nearly four years old, GTA V still enjoys huge sales success, consistently finding itself around the top of the UK charts. Whether the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 later this year will have any impact on Grand Theft Auto Online‘s success remains to be seen, but Rockstar says there’s no reason both titles can’t coexist.
