Even before The Witcher III: Wild Hunt was burdened with delays, from what we’ve saw of CD Projekt Red’s upcoming sequel, the final chapter in the story of one Geralt of Rivia is shaping up to be one of the most visually impressive titles we’ve ever laid eyes on.

And today, the Polish dev took to Twitter to outline the specifications you’ll need to run Wild Hunt in all of its monster-hunting glory. Is your rig up to the task?

Minimum System Requirements:
Intel i5-2500K 3.3GHz
AMD Phenom II X4 940
GeForce GTX 660
Radeon HD 7870
RAM 6GB
64-bit Win 7/Win 8(8.1)
DX11
HDD 40 GB

Recommended System Requirements:
Intel i7 3770 3.4 GHz
AMD FX-8350 4 GHz
GeForce GTX 770
Radeon R9 290
RAM 8GB
OS 64-bit Win 7/Win 8 (8.1)
DX11
HDD 40 GB

As you can imagine, the specs are pretty taxing for those looking to play the threequel on PC — particularly the ‘recommended’ SKU, detailing a beefy i7 processor along with 8GB of RAM. Still, we always knew that The Witcher III: Wild Hunt would be pretty demanding on the platform, and given the amount of detail that has gone into rendering the lush RPG world, it’s almost befitting that the specs are this lofty.

On the topic of CD Projekt Red’s title, we learned quite recently that the game will also introduce a playable female character in the form of Ciri, who has been described as a badass Elven warrior. We understand that Geralt will remain the prime focus of the campaign, though it’ll still be nice to change perspectives to keep things fresh as you plough through the hours upon hours of content.

The Witcher III: Wild Hunt will hope to see out Geralt in style when it arrives for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 19, 2015.
