Ahead of its release in a few weeks’ time, Konami has detailed the framerate and resolution of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain across all platforms.

Running at 1080p and 60 frames-per-second across both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the Japanese mega-publisher unveiled a comparative breakdown of the technical specs across consoles and PC. According to the post, Microsoft’s latter platform is currently outputting at 900p, though it’s understood the final version will reach the same graphical standards come launch.

As one would expect, the last-gen ports of The Phantom Pain will be locked at 720p and 30 frames-per-second, while the PC boasts the ability to output Konami’s stealth sequel in 4K resolution via upscaling.

These official statistics arrive on the heels of the game’s bloody Gamescom trailer, where Konami also confirmed The Phantom Pain‘s minimum and recommended PC specs. As a matter of fact, those who pre-order the sequel on the platform will be entitled to a free digital copy of its acclaimed prologue, Ground Zeroes.

Bringing an end to a relationship that spans generations, it’s been confirmed that esteemed developer Hideo Kojima will depart Konami following the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in September. It’s a fallout that has long overshadowed the release of the fifth numerical entry in the franchise, and one that had greater ramifications for other projects at the publisher, nixing Silents Hills and the collaboration with Guillermo Del Toro in the process.

Due for release across all platforms on September 1, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will bring an end to Hideo Kojima’s decorated tenure at the helm of the series.
