As promised, EA and DICE have pulled back the tarpaulin on an all-new trailer for Star Wars Battlefront, welcoming the likes of Han Solo and the malevolent, power-mongering Emperor Palpatine to the galactic battle.
While those who partook in the colossal beta test earlier this month will be familiar with some of the locales and game modes shown, there is plenty to get excited about in the shooter’s latest sizzle reel. Here, we see shots of the Walker Assault mode played out on Endor and Sullust, while there’s even a shot of the famous two moons overlooking the dusty, sun-scorched valleys of Tatooine.
[zerggaming]Beyond the terrain and new environments, arguably the true money shot of the new Star Wars Battlefront clip involves Han Solo locking horns with the indelible Darth Vader, and fans of Lucasfilm’s original trilogy will be pleased to note that you’ll be able to control each Hero or Villain character upon picking up one of the power-ups littered across the alien terrain. Emperor Palpatine, Leia Organa and Bobe Fett will also be playable, and if you keep your ears piqued you’ll also hear a real throwback with the Wilhelm scream.
Star Wars Battlefront will whisk players to a galaxy far, far away when DICE’s high-profile licensed title touches down on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 17.
