Although our European counterparts will have more to celebrate when they purchase their The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D special edition set, us North Americans won’t be left out in the proverbial cold, under an ominous moon. That’s because Nintendo of America has officially revealed a collector’s set for our neck of the woods, which will include not only a physical copy of the Nintendo 64 classic’s 3DS remake, but also a neat-looking Skull Kid figure.
Retailing for $50, the aforementioned set’s existence will be welcomed by the collectors amongst us. After all, it’s very likely that many folks had been contemplating importing the European bundle, with its steel book case, two-sided poster and themed pin. Hell, the pot is even sweeter across the pond, as those who pre-order the title through GAME will be gifted with a Majora’s Mask paperweight for their troubles, though the offer has only been made available to those who purchase the standard edition (for now, at least).
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D and its limited edition statue are currently available for pre-order at Amazon, but other retailers should adopt them soon. That said, there’s still no word on exactly when the 3D remaster will launch, especially in North America, where the New 3DS and New 3DS XL systems have yet to be given street dates.
