I know using the Madden franchise as a barometer for what’s going on in the NFL is frowned upon by many sports fans, but I gotta tell you, Mike Shanahan is looking a bit beastly. Seriously, look at the pecs on that guy. I knew the guy was trying to build up a bit, but he’s going to have to bust some serious ass to look as good as he does on the Madden sidelines.
You can see for yourself later today when the demo for Madden NFL 13 hits XBLA and PSN. You’ll be able to play a game between the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins as well as a rematch between the Giants and 49ers. As much fun as it is to rattle Eli Manning’s head around that over-sized helmet of his, I’m really looking forward to testing out RGIII’s arm.
Check out the video below to get a quick sneak peak on how the game will play out, and see proof that not only is Mike Shanahan a physical specimen, he’s got a heart of gold. He’s still letting Rex Grossman lead the team’s pre game huddle. Just have to wait and see if Sexy Rexy goes a bit too long with the speech as well. I guess we’ll find out when Madden 13 launches on August 28th.
