With Marvel vs. Capcom 3 officially released yesterday, you’re all probably busy trying out all the characters and memorizing button combinations, but Capcom is not resting yet. The company unveiled the first round of DLC to be released for the game, including the release date and price.
The first DLC pack will be releasing on March 1st and will include the previously announced Shadow Mode as well as alternate costumes for characters. Pictured below, courtesy of IGN, are the new threads for some of the characters. In the first picture from left to right is Thor, Captain America and Iron Man. The second picture shows Chris Redfield, Ryu and Dante. This pack will cost you $5 or 400MSP.
It should be noted that the new playable characters, Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath, are going to be released separately on March 15th and are not included in this first DLC pack. Purchasers of the Special Edition received codes to download the two characters for free but prices have not yet been announced for standard edition buyers. We’ll keep you posted on that.
And be sure to check back for our review of the game, which will be up shortly.
